What is the shadow series?
The Shadow Trilogy is a series of young adult action adventure novels written by American author Hanna M. Shields. It follows 22 year old protagonist Avalon Winters and her journey from captivity at the hands of political leader turned criminal Arthur Boleyn, to agent of the world class spy agency known as Phoenix Underground.
Following a decade-long war, disagreement on how to rebuild society caused many to seek a different route toward eradicating the failures of the past by training children to excel in three primary areas based on the essential requirements of the original Phoenix Trials.
But when their evasive means to achieving these objectives were finally discovered, they were believed to be shut down until almost fifty years later when signs of their survival began to show through the regular occurrence of fire raids throughout both of Scotland’s largest cities.
Now Avalon must fight to keep society from falling into their iron grip, even while the rest of the world turns a blind eye to the impending threat of their rising control.

Hanna M. Shields is a missionary with ABWE International commissioned to serve on the continent of Australia in March of 2022.She graduation from Colorado Christian University with a bachelor degree in Communication in 2022 and currently resides in Michigan for the duration of pre-field ministry with her husband of four years and their two rambunctious cats. She has been writing strories from the young age of six, a hobby she's often called her way of "praying with a keyboard" and fills her spare time writing stories of their missionary adventures on her blog located on their website at siministry.org.
